Our health is our most important asset and we all have to take responsibility to maintain it. We often only realise this when we fall ill. In times of the coronavirus, health is one of the mega topics, which is also reflected in the increasing number of media reports, TV shows, apps, seminars and so on.
Studies and an expert report by the Federal Govern-ment confirm the following statement: People with a higher level of health literacy are less likely to fall ill and will recover more quickly whenever they fall ill. They are healthier and help to curb the cons-tantly rising health costs.

Switzerland still has a lot of potential in this area. As European surveys show, the Swiss population has poorer health literacy than the average European country. The annual additional costs of CHF 2.2 to 3.3 billion caused by insufficient health literacy, frequent consultations with doctors, emergency admission and increased inpatient treatment are considerable.

MAX & EVE is a national educational initiative to promote health literacy. A live campus and a digital knowledge platform are planned. With this offer we pursue several goals:
Increasing personal responsibility
Fewer illnesses and faster recovery through more knowledge
Reducing the costs of illness
Increasing joy, well-being and common good
To turn this ambitious vision into reality, we want to welcome 1 million visitors to the Live Campus during 6 months. For a project of such dimensions, we need about CHF 75 million.

The total project costs of CHF 75 million are divided as follows:
Funding Phases
PHASE 1: Financing the planning phase
Currently, the financing and implementation of the planning phase is pending. For the planning we need CHF 2 million.
As soon as CHF 1.2 million are secured, we will start the implementation.
PHASE 2: Residual financing of the overall project
According to current calculations, the second phase of the project costs for MAX & EVE amount to approximately CHF 73 million.
Funding Sources
The sources of funding are divided into campus admissions, partner contributions (sponsoring), foundations, donations and public funding:
For companies, we have developed an initial concept with offers that provide them with an interesting platform as strategic partners before, during and after the six-month experience exhibition. Attractive service packages and customized activation activities form the core of these partnerships. The active involvement of the partners (co-working and co-creation) is part of this genuinely lived partnership.
